Dr. Emily Wagler
VMPC, DVM/Owner
Bringing over 20 years of experience in a wide range of primary care veterinary clinics, including emergency medicine, she offers a well-rounded and practical approach to patient care. With more than 450 hours of continuing education focused on ophthalmology, completed through a combination of remote coursework and hands-on training—including programs with the University of Sydney and the North Carolina State ACVO Science course—she is deeply committed to advancing her expertise. She is passionate about “bridging the gap” between primary care veterinarians and board-certified veterinary ophthalmologists, ensuring patients receive timely, collaborative, and comprehensive eye care. Serving southwestern Ontario, she provides advanced diagnostic and treatment services using specialized equipment such as slit lamp biomicroscopy, indirect ophthalmoscopy, panretinal imaging, and tonometry, and performs procedures including diamond burr keratectomies, grid keratotomies, and select eyelid surgeries.
